The first TCP game of 2005... It was a small game only 5 of us and it started late!
We did have fun though, it was very relaxed, fits of giggles and pizza oh and some poker too!
I'm really crap at writing reports so will try and talk Steve Deadmoney into writing this later.
Pete surprised us all, usually only bringing a fiver this time he had 2 rebuys and still didn't make the money. There were a few all ins early on in the game and G got a bit unlucky when a flush meant he lost a lot to Steve, but once we settled down chip stacks were pretty even until Steve won a load off Pete.
Adam had me laughing all night which wasn't difficult 'cos I was a little fucked. Once it got down to three G was short stack, and Steve and myself were nearly even.. I think I had a slight lead but not by much.
Then I found aces, I decided to slow play them... I was small blind anyway so just called. Steve had founbd something he liked too so there was a small raise, again I called and an Ace hit the flop. Lovely for me... maybe... there was also a possible straight and Steve is a lucky git and I know usually when he's raising he has something, but had he hit it? Oh well a few more little raises, I can't remember what the turn was, but the river was a king and Steve really liked that, so soon was all in. I don't know if he went all in or I raised him but anyway I flipped over the bullets and Steve was out.
Heads up now with G... great now if I beat him then I'll never hear the end of it and he may even consider driving me home! Oh well shit happens, after a few hands I had J3 suited (I think) and g had Q? suited he was really low and went all in, I called and a 3 hit either the turn or river. Game over and I got 1st place and an earfull!
Like I said sorry earlier I will try and get Steve to add some bits but for now thats it.
