Only 1st place finish to date was at Phat Dogs home game; however have had several money finishes in my short time playing poker, when I don't bubble.

I have proven to be a consistent final table finisher at Palace of cards events with 3 out 4 final tables made, most notable was the 4th place out of 56 in the Team Event on the 5th February (120 from 25 freeze out). Most profitable result was a 4th place out of 63 at the Palace of cards (201 from 20) in a 10 re-buy event. I currently have a 50% hit rate of making the money in all events played to date.

In his own words

I don't remember exactly how I got in to poker I think it started around Christmas 2004 with a friendly game at home in Derby with family and friends. Then I spent a few months being a fish online before getting bored (still am a fish they say, they talk a lot, they aren't wise!). Re-found my love of the game through my mentor and master Craig Napier aka Disco aka mad dog aka probable the best poker player in the UK, aka he bluffs a lot.

We played games with other work colleagues with whom I found I won 2 of 3 games I played, then my master thought I was ready for a new challenge, the Phat Dogs home game. Now typically I am very shy and nervous around new people, especially away from home and my 1st game at Baz's aka Mr Entertainment I was left shaken an bubbling 4th due in no small part to a wicked bluff by Lindz aka The Woo, aka Rock Bitch <- Baz's words, it sort of fitted that day! She managed to bluff me off a pot when I had top pair and she had feck all, she was a massive chip leader at the time and that was the day I learnt about chip leader bullying (I still can't do it but I try). I haven't held a grudge and she has smooth things over by letting sleep with her and Mel??.The last things I remember was talking about dildos and sex toys then I woke up with a sore arse. Graham was there too but no one admitted to knowing anything about by rectal problem?humm.

Since being a regular at Phat Dog games I have learnt a lot about poker most of which I don't remember, that's probably why I'll always be a fish. However, I have great fun and consider the guys (regular playing included) to be an extension of my family and I very much appreciate them letting me spent my time and money with them!

What the other members say about Jesus

Lindz - Jesus is a fairly new player and hates going out the game early. At his first game I bluffed him out of a massive pot, he's been carefull ever since. Sent me his profiles in a shit coloured brown text that was a pain in the arse to put on the site.

G - He's had an unbelievable start to 2006, eclipsing his poker 'Guru' Craig even. 3 out of 4 final tables at Palace of Cards. He redefines the term 'Tight Player'. His record speaks for itself, but if he raises, needs careful thinking about!! Very honest and open, its fun playing with Jesus. Would have been easy to bully, but Lindz ruined that for us. Expect him to go from strength to strength. Also has an alarming knack for being level headed and you have to get up very early to put one over Jesus.

Steve - He's either the quickest learner ever, or actually Jesus. After a few initial games with modest results, He's suddenly become the form player. He makes the blind see (red, with his all-in raises), tells you to "come unto" Him, and then suddenly you find you've been touched by Jesus. Well, that's the Last Supper I?m having round at his gaff.

Top tip: Put him on tilt by telling Him that you're "holier than thou".

Phil - It takes a good man to put up with being known as 'Jesus', and an ever better one to actually dress up as him, thorny crown, cross and all, like Jon did at the christmas game.  As for his poker, he's a survivor.  Or at least it seems that way, 'cause he's always talking about being short-stacked, but often lasts for a very long time in that state.  Thing is, though, last week he was lamenting his stack-size at the point he was second chip-leader, so it could all be false advertising.  Although that's surely out of character for a man who claims to be the son of god.

Pete (slag) -

Baz - Jesus reminds me of a hippie, but a 20th century one at that, always remember taking him down on a hand with Q 2 at Lindzs house which I knew hurt the Jesus look like, also that I one of the few road trips I wrote was " I walked the streets of Nazareth" which was mainly dedicated to jesus, cause he clean every fucker out at my house.. A good player who seems to get to the final table most times, but to me he will always be "praise the lord" Love ya jesus

Andy - Jesus is a great player who really thinks about the call.  A very lively person who always wants to be in the pot and can often be found at the arse end of most games. I predict great things for the son of God.

Dave - You just can't put him away. In a tourney he can survive for age safter most people would have been dead and buried. This resilience has earned him a number of final table places recently. I think there's a lot more success to come from Jon.

Marty - Entertaining to have at the table. Is a very solid player with no obvious tells. Has a great poker face. This guy is good or should I say dangerous. One of the top 3 players within the phat dogs(my personal opinion).

Craig - Top deity.  Pokerwise, he needs to get back in line and stop doing better than me.  Thing is , you pick on him at the table and you know he'll run home and tell daddy though!

Del -

Nick - Jes*s is a survivor. I’ve lost count of the amount of times he’s made the final table and the money in tournaments. I don’t know what it is but it’s really hard to kill that boy off. He just keeps resurrecting himself. He thinks hard and long about the decisions he makes and usually comes up with the correct choice.

Pete (new/doc) - The first time we played at the same table he kept repeating that he was only a beginner with no experience. Hogwash!!! If I had to tip someone to win the league he's the guy. He is a fantastic player with no obvious weaknesses. He must have some influence because he catches some great cards when you least expect them. He's also a really nice person.
